One specific thing that I appreciate about Marcus's workouts is how much he tailors each one to the individual (or group of individuals). He takes a holistic approach to his workouts and is able to identify my weaknesses and target those. He also tailors each workout to what my bodies need for the week - whether it's recovery day or a day where we can be pushed to the max. But don't be fooled by his recovery days! They are also quite difficult

Whether it's a life talk or discussing the plot of a book, Marcus invokes the best qualities in me, helping more than he knows. He is eternally playing life in a game of chess, responding swiftly and deliberately. The thing is that what we don't see is that Marcus is always playing at least thirty games of chess, each with different goals, for himself or others, in mind. With every checkmate, a new goal is completed. The pieces are set up again but also two more games are started.
